An AI created by the Chozo who turned evil upon encountering and eventually siding with the Space Pirates. In Super Metroid, Samus destroys her for good in the lava-infested depths of Zebes.
In Smash Bros., Mother Brain shoots her colorful laser rays at opponents in front of her. In addition, rings of energy called Rinkas appear around her, bouncing about in the air and harming anyone they touch. Mother Brain can be defeated with enough damage, however, so if you'd like, take her down once she spawns!
