This first appeared in Wrecking Crew. When picked up, the user will rapidly swing the hammer up and down, dealing major damage and horizontal knockback to anyone who gets hit by it. Users can also float in the air by pressing the attack button repeatedly.
Sometimes players will get a Golden Squeaky Hammer, which deals zero damage, much to the user’s disappointment. At least it keeps the floating functionality, but it’s still a real bummer to get a dud for an item, eh?
