The four ghosts from Pac-Man appear onscreen: Inky, Blinky, Pinky, and Clyde. They each appear in their 8-bit form, moving about in the air and damaging anyone they touch.
After a certain amount of time they speed up their movements and attempt to aerially push opponents off the screen.
All four ghosts exhibit different movement behaviors. Blinky heads directly towards foes, while Inky moves in the opposite direction. Pinky tries to ambush foes in front and Clyde just does whatever he likes.
