Jungle Hijinxs
- Donkey Kong -The first level of Donkey Kong Country Returns, Jungle Hijinx mirrored the level of the same name from the original Donkey Kong Country. A fairly simple stage to get new players oriented with the controls, it featured Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong leaving their treehouse to beat up some baddies and take back their bananas.
Jungle Hijinx is one of the more unique stages of the lot, as it allows one to fight on two fronts. The main battle rages on in the foreground, but players can use barrel cannons to launch themselves into a separate field in the background. Obviously, this adds more strategy to the fight, as players can inflict massive damage by launching themselves directly where an opponent is, but don't get too cozy. Players can KO others more easily in the background area, and the barrel cannons explode if a player uses them too much in a single time period.
