Flipper
- Nintendo -The Flipper is a tricky item introduced in Super Smash Bros. Melee, originating from the Balloon Fight series. It is inspired by the flippers found in the original Balloon Fight, which reverse a player’s horizontal movement when touched.
When thrown in Super Smash Bros., the Flipper causes any fighter it hits to have their controls reversed for a short time. While it deals little damage, its true strength lies in disrupting movement, confusing opponents, and turning simple actions like recovery or positioning into sudden hazards.
