Assist-Trophy

The Assist Trophy calls upon the help one of many assorted Nintendo characters to assist the player in battle, from the very obscure to the immensely popular. Players must grab the Assist Trophy and remain grounded to automatically raise it skyward and release their Assist.

Every Assist differs in function - some will attack opponents, inflict status effects on players, produce items, or hinder all of the players’ ability to fight through various means.
