The Star Rod is a legendary tool used to power the Fountain of Dreams. It’s been stolen on multiple occasions, causing the inhabitants of Dream Land to no longer dream. In Smash Bros, it can be used in as a battering item, and can shoot stars as a Smash Attack. When thrown it inflicts high lateral knockback on opponents, acting as a semi-spiking item.
