In Nintendogs, players own and take care of multiple dogs for fun. In Smash Bros., players may summon a Nintendog, but incur their nuisances.
When summoned as an Assist they will appear up close near the camera and obstruct the view by licking and pawing at the screen. This particular dog featured in the game is a Caniche Toy.
